Throughout Eric’s career, he has originated or underwritten over 150 MW of solar and storage projects. He currently manages the origination efforts of a 4.8 GW solar portfolio. Prior to joining CEP, Eric was a Natural Gas Trader at Duke Energy. In this role, he managed the commercial trading strategy for a natural gas portfolio consisting of over 300 BCF in annual burn. As a Senior Analyst, he focused on business development and acquisitions for assets in Duke Energy’s renewable energy investment group. During this time, Eric was part of the successful acquisition of a 75MW solar facility in Florida and deploying Duke’s first utility-scale microgrid in Indiana. Eric also has held various trading roles at Twin Eagle and ACES Power Marketing. Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from East Carolina University and an MBA from Clemson University.
